  • Ingredients: 200g oyster mushroom, cornstarch, 2 eggs, oil, salt and pepper to taste.
  • Heat oil.
  • Season cornstarch with salt and pepper.
  • Dip mushroom in beaten eggs, then dip and evenly cover in cornstarch.
  • Deep-fry until golden brown.
  • Serve with your choice of dipping sauce.

Ginisang Kabute

  • Ingredients: 400g oyster mushroom (ends removed, cut into small pieces), 1 tbsp oyster sauce; 1/2 tsp soy sauce; small ginger shredded; 1 small onion, diced; cooking oil, peppercorn.
  • Squeeze out extra water from the mushrooms.
  • Heat oil.
  • Saute ginger, onion, and mushroom and only stir slightly.
  • Add soy sauce and oyster sauce until darkened.
  • Sprinkle peppercorn and salt to taste.

Cabbage and Oyster Mushroom

  • Ingredients: 4-5 leaves cabbage. 1 cup oyster mushroom. Small onion. Oil. 1 tbsp soy sauce. 1/2 tsp vinegar. salt to taste.
  • Heat oil.
  • Quickly sautee onion and mushroom for 2-3 minutes.
  • Put in the cabbage and the rest of the ingredients until liquid is almost dissolved.
  • Add salt to taste.
